Nassau, Bahamas Reception

Mercersburg, Peddie, Blair, and Episcopal High School will all be taking part in The American Boarding School Exhibition in the Bahamas on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 3:00-6:00pm at The Island House (Mahogany Hill, Nassau).

Admission officers from 13 prestigious schools will be coming to Nassau to participate in the exhibition including Berkshire, Blair, Choate, Episcopal, Fay, Gunnery, Mercersburg, Millbrook, Northfield Mount Hermon, Peddie, Salisbury, Westminster and Williston. The participating schools represent a diverse cross-section of the different types of educational options available in the USA. This mix highlights the different ethos, sense of structure, and campus culture each school has to offer. They also demonstrate small versus a large school, junior boarding schools, single sex and coeducational options, as well as schools from different geographic locations.

There will be a panel presentation by the schools covering topics like "why go to boarding schools in the USA" and "what do boarding schools look for in a candidate." There will also be plenty of time for personal one-on-one conversations with the school representatives. Come explore, and investigate, which school may be the best fit for your child.

Educational Consultants Jennifer Bush Evans and Virginia J. Bush of VJB & Associates, with offices in the USA and the Bahamas, also will be in attendance to answer your questions about boarding schools, the application process and finding the right school for your child.
